Our Ruby Shangri-La tea is a surprisingly refreshing tea blend made from all organic, dried hibiscus flowers combined with our famous “Blue Tea”, the exotic blue butterfly pea flowers.
Roselle tea contains a lot of vitamin c and antihypertensives and hence is generally used to treat high blood pressure. In Asia drinking roselle tea is believed to reduce cholesterol. Each Ruby Shangri-La comes in a beautiful, handmade wooden box and contains 50 grams/1.76 ounces (net weight).

Without adding (brown) sugar or honey Ruby Shangri-La tastes slightly sour, depending on concentration. Add ice and serve chilled for a really refreshing drink.

Preparation: To prepare Ruby Shangri-La tea either drop a few hibiscus and butterfly pea flowers into your tea cup filled with hot water or place a handful of the tea into boiling water and let it simmer for up to 15 minutes, depending on desired intensity of the tea. Afterwards discard the tea, excess tea can be stored in the fridge for several days. Add brown sugar or honey if needed and stir until dissolved. Serve either hot or cold with crushed ice.
