The Dunialella Salina is an orange/green algae growing in salt water. The algae’s naturla habitat are high-salt environments such as salt evaporation ponds and salt lakes. The most important components of Dunialella are Beta carotene, other carotenoids including alpha carotene, lutein, and lycopene, glycerol and protein.

At high salt concentration the Dunialella develops, in addition to photosynthesis, a second photosystem to process the sunlight. The algae with the melodious name “Dunaliella Salina” contains, among other things, the valuable carotenoids. These are a precursor to the precious vitamin A, which i.a. important for the cell and DNA generation.

Our Dunialella Salina has a perfect certificate of analysis to assure the highest quality possible. The powder is safe to consume for people all ages no matter the serving size.
